The ISRT Delhi NCR Chapter, together with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, organized a one-day J.O.I.N.T. Radiology Safety Symposium on 15 November 2025. The event had a very good response, with more than 400 students and radiology professionals attending. Delegates from 44 universities, hospitals and diagnostic centres joined, showing strong interest in learning about radiology safety and professional growth.
The management and senior faculty of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital graced the event with their presence. Their support and encouraging words added great value for all participants. They spoke about the need for continuous learning, safe radiation practices, and the important role of radiographers in modern healthcare.
The symposium included expert sessions on radiation protection, MRI safety, cyber and data security, government guidelines, new technologies, and good practices in clinical radiology. These sessions helped participants understand how to keep patients and staff safe while ensuring good-quality imaging.
The event also featured a Radiology Quiz Competition and a Poster Presentation Competition. These activities gave students a chance to show their knowledge, creativity, and research work. The overall success of the symposium reflected the strong teamwork.
