The Parumala Interventional Radiology Department, in association with the ISRT Pathanamthitta Academic Club, successfully hosted STAIRSCON 2025 on November 8, 2025, at Hotel KGA Elite Continental, Thiruvalla.
With the theme “Empowering Healthcare through Imaging Excellence,” the event focused on advancing knowledge in Aortic Interventions, highlighting the vital role of radiographers from the CT room to the Angiosuite.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Geena Benjamin (Professor & HOD, Radiodiagnosis, Pushpagiri Medical College).
Felicitation was offered by Dr. Jobin Varkey Pothen (TMM Hospital), Mr. Finny Thomas Joseph ( Finance Secretary, ISRT Academic Club. Pathanamthitta), and Mr. Ajith Ananthakrishnan (Joint Secretary, ISRT Kerala Chapter and Coordinator, ISRT Academic Club Pathanamthitta). Mr. Nizamuddin, National Governing Body Member, ISRT, also attended and commended the organizers.
Scientific sessions included talks by Dr. Anirudh Nair on Aortic Emergencies, Dr. Bibin Sebastian on Practical Aspects of Aortic Interventions, and Mr. Sunil K (Lifetech) on Technical Aspects of the Angiosuite.
The event concluded with a warm fellowship dinner, providing an excellent opportunity for interaction and networking among delegates and speakers.
STAIRSCON 2025 marked a significant step in promoting academic excellence and professional collaboration in interventional radiology.
