The Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists (ISRT) Chandigarh Chapter

The Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists (ISRT) Chandigarh Chapter actively participated in the Chitkara Radiography Conclave @ IDoR 2025 held at Chitkara University, Punjab on 07 nov 2025. The event, themed “Enhancing Critical Thinking & Empowering Healthcare through Imaging Excellence,” was organized for MRIT students of the Allied Health Sciences Department.

The conclave featured expert talks by Dr. Sandeep Moudgil, Senior Consultant, Neuro Interventional Radiology, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali, and Dr. Arvinder Kaur Heer, Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Shalby Multi-specialty Hospital, Mohali. Both speakers emphasized the significance of imaging excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration in modern healthcare. A panel discussion on the NCAHP Act 2021 highlighted the evolving professional standards, entrepreneurship, and industry opportunities in healthcare. Esteemed panelists included Dr. S. C. Bansal, Former Assistant Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis, PGIMER Chandigarh; Mr. Aditya Nagrath, President, ISRT Chandigarh Chapter; and Mr. Debendra Prasad Gupta, Senior CT Product Manager, GE Healthcare, South Asia.

The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Sonika Bakshi, Dean, Chitkara School of Health Sciences, along with Ms. Nidhi Goswami (Organising Secretary) and Ms. Manpreet Kaur (Admin In-charge).

The participation of ISRT Chandigarh Chapter added great academic value and strengthened the collaborative efforts between academia and professional radiology practice. The conclave successfully inspired young technologists to pursue excellence and innovation in medical imaging.
