Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences ( UPUMS ), Saifai, Etawah conducted a one day National Conference, ‘ PARACON -2024 ‘ on 24th April 2024 in University Auditorium, Saifai. The academic event was conducted in collaboration with the Indian Society of Radiographers & Technologists (ISRT) and Rashtiya Samaj Sevi Parishad ( RSP / IMO). Allied Health Professionals including Radiographers, Physiotherapists, Optometrists, Medical Lab and Blood Transfusion Professionals were the target group of the event with a theme ‘ Role of Allied Health Professionals in National Health Reformation’ . Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singh, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Uttar Pradesh Medical University Saifai was the Chief Guest of the event and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Former Director RIMS & R Saifai, Professor Dr. Ramakant Yadav, Professor Dr. Aadesh Kumar, Professor Dr. SP Singh, Professor Dr. Chandraveer Singh and Dr. Jitendra Prasad Mathuria, Dr. Arun Kumar Rajput, Padmavati Dehuri, State President, Women’s Council, RSP Odisha were the Special Guests. Dr. Vijay Kishore Chakraborty, Organizing Secretary said ALARA News Service that it took him a full year to make this conference successful. During this, ISRT General Secretary Mr. Suresh Malayyath rendered the guidance and support in making the conference successful. Dr. Chakravarti, also the Faculty of Paramedical Science in UPUMS, Saifai Etawah added that more than Ten colleges/universities have participated in this conference. All the faculties of paramedical science and hundreds of delegates participated and benefited from the field of education through keynote speakers in scientific research. Prof. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Prof. Dr. Terthraj Verma , Prof. Dr. Sunil Chaudhary, Mr. Wilson Harangkawal, Mr. Ramesh Sharma, Prof. Dr. Lalit Mohan Agarwal, Mr. Rakesh Kaul, Mr. Aditya Nagrath, Mr. Gopichand Dhobal, Ms. Subanshi Rani, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, Mr. Shailendra Kumar Diwakar and Ms. Neha Singh were the National Speakers of the event. Ms. Tasleem Shaikh, the International Faculty from Washington DC, USA presented her paper ‘ Determining Structural Brain Connectivity using MRI’ online.The program was attended by hundreds of delegates from various states.
